Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank) is one of the largest bank in the Philippines in terms of assets and is the largest Philippine bank in terms of overseas presence. The Bank has representative offices in the financial centers worldwide (London, Taichung, Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai). In 2010, Metrobank inaugurated its wholly-owned subsidiary, Metropolitan Bank (China) Ltd., the first foreign bank headquarters to be established in Nanjing.
