Swedbank was ranked as the best bank in Estonia as well as in Lithuania by Euromoney, one of the world’s leading financial markets magazines. Euromoney announced the winners in its annual Awards for Excellence 2010 competition, one of the most prestigious awards in the global banking industry, on July 8 in London.
Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank won the top honours overall in the Awards for Excellence category, while Swedbank was picked the best bank in Estonia and Lithuania. All the winners are published in Euromoney’s July issue.
Since 1992, Euromoney, one of the world’s leading financial markets magazine, has singled out outstanding institutions in finance. Over the years, the competition has grown and the magazine now incorporates 25 global awards for banking and capital markets as well as awards for the best banks and securities houses in almost 100 countries around the world.
