Caixa Econômica Federal (Federal Savings Bank) is the second largest government-owned financial institution in Brazil. The Bank provides a wide range of financial products and services including checking and savings accounts, mortgage notes, demand and time deposits, and housing loans. Caixa also manages most of the popular lotteries in Brazil such as Quina, Mega-Sena and LotoMania. Total assets: US$ 385 billion (as of September 30, 2013).
