National Westminster Bank plc (NWB plc or NatWest) is a retail and commercial bank in the United Kingdom that has been part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group since 2000. The Bank has a large network of over 960 branches and 3,400 cash machines across Great Britain and offers a wide range of banking services to over 7 million customers. In Northern Ireland it operates through its Ulster Bank subsidiary.

NatWest provides Personal Banking, Private Banking, Business Banking and Commercial Banking. NWB Plc is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NatWest Holdings Limited.

NatWest is often mentioned in scam letters.

In March 2000, The Royal Bank of Scotland Group completed the acquisition of NatWest in a 21 billion pounds deal that was the largest take-over in British banking history.
